  ICELAND: Parliament building in Iceland surrounded by thousands of protesters for Prime Minster Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson resignation over Panama Leaks.
 

Thousands of protesters gathered in front of Parliament gate which were beating drums and blowing whistles for the step down of prime minister.

 

Protests started day after of Panama Leaks which reported that Gunnlaugsson invested in a off shore company Wintris Inc. but prime minister denied.

 

He said “What are you trying to make up here? This is totally inappropriate.

 

Opposition parties demanded for immediate resignation and new elections in the state.

 

Opposition Pirate Party leader Brigitta Jonsdottir claimed that Gunnlaugsson has lost his trust and believability and it would be better for him to resign.

 

Panamanian based law firm Mossack Fonseca shared secret details of hundreds of politicians and heads of states for having off shore companies which include Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko, UK PM David Cameron, Iceland’s PM Sigmundur David Ginnlaugsson, Argentinean footballer Lionel Messi and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son and daughter.
