The name of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has finally been removedfrom the list of banned airlines on the European Commission’s website.

The website of the European Commission for Mobility and Transport containsthe list of all banned airlines.

PIA spokesperson said that the removal of PIA’s name from the list is apositive step. The spokesperson hopes that the license issue will also beresolved soon and the national airline will resume operations to Europeancountries and the United Kingdom.

The spokesperson added that PIA is trying to provide the best Europeantravel facilities to Pakistani travelers as soon as possible.
