China has firmly opposed the United States groundless suppression ofChinese enterprises.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said Chinese enterprises alwaysoperate in accordance with laws and regulations, and strictly abide by thelaws and regulations of the host countries of their internationaloperations.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry slammed the UnitedStates’ new visa rules for members of the Communist Party of China and saidthat several U.S. politicians and their anti-China rhetoric were ridiculousand pathetic.

She noted that China-U.S. relations are based on the consensus that bothsides recognize and respect the differences in their social systems.
