Pakistan, China and Afghanistan tripartite dialogue, FM Qureshi to leave for Kabul: Sources

ISLAMABAD – A tripartite dialogue in Kabul involving Pakistan, China andAfghanistan on the Afghan peace process has been planned later this month.

Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will leave for Kabul onDecember 15 to represent Pakistan in the moot, which will be attended byhis counterparts from China and Afghanistan.

Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani and Chinese State Councillor andForeign Minister Wang Yi will lead the respective delegations from theircountries.

The moot will aim to advance the ongoing peace talks in Afghanistan whichare aimed at catalysing an end to the 17-year invasion of the country by UStroops.
