PCB to launch T10 league

The CEO of Middlesex County Cricket Club, Andrew Cornish, along with theDirector, Alan Coleman, and Middlesex County Cricket Club representative,Mohsin Wariach, paid a visit to the Pakistan cricket headquarters inLahore.

During their visit, they formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Over the course of two days, thedelegation, led by Cornish, engaged in discussions with Zaka Ashraf, theChair of the PCB Management Committee, and other PCB officials.

They delved into various aspects of cricket of mutual interest, includingthe promotion, growth, and development of the sport. Additionally, theMiddlesex delegation had the opportunity to tour the National CricketAcademy and presented their insights to PCB officials. Following extensivediscussions, both parties put pen to paper and signed the MoU.

The MoU outlines their shared interest in collaborating across multipleareas of mutual concern. Some notable aspects of the MoU include:

– Establishing a partnership for the development and joint launch of a T10league. Both parties will have equal equity participation in this league,contingent on mutually agreed-upon concepts, business plans, financialprojections, and management structures.

Exploring the feasibility of organizing exhibition matches in both Pakistanand the UK, featuring HBL PSL teams and teams affiliated with MiddlesexCounty Cricket Club.

Arranging training and educational programs, encompassing courses forcoaches, analysts, umpires, and curators/groundsmen, with a focus onincorporating the latest technologies into these programs.

Middlesex County Cricket Club’s commitment to creating and supervisingtraining initiatives for women’s cricket teams operating under the PCB,including the Pakistan national women’s team.
