The Federal Minister of Energy, Muhammad Ali, stated that efforts toexpedite the search for oil and gas throughout the country are underway toensure the effective fulfillment of the oil and gas requirements in thefuture. Particularly, efforts will be made to boost the morale of investorsin this sector.
During an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) at the ADIPECconference in Abu Dhabi, he mentioned that they are preparing policiesregarding shale (shelly) gas and tight gas.
Government has announced bids for exploration in December, especially inoffshore and onshore exploration.

The Minister of Energy further stated that Pakistan has a significantpresence at ADIPEC this year, with approximately 10 companies involved inexploration, oil marketing, and related sectors. Certainly, this marks apromising beginning.
