KARACHI – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested two officialsof Sindh local government department over corruption charges.
According to sources, accused Rehmatullah and Manzoor Abbasi were removedby the Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah some months ago. They areaccused to making fake payments worth millions of rupees to bogus companies.
Manzoor Abbasi has already plea bargained with the anti-graft watchdog in acase. Investigation of assets beyond means are underway.
