Lahore High Court announces verdict over Captain (R) Safdar bail plea

LAHORE – Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday granted protective bail to son inlaw of Nawaz Sharif, Captain (retd) Safdar in treason case.

According to details, LHC, while barring police from arresting PML-Nleader, granted him bail till October 10.

Earlier, a treason case was registered against Captain (retd) Safdar inGujranwala. Captain Safdar is accused of using threating words againststate institutions.

The case has been registered in Satellite Town Police Station on complaintof the SHO. PML-N MPA Imran Khalid Butt has also been nominated the case.
