PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan onSunday announced that the Executive Committee of the Economic CoordinationCouncil (ECNEC) had given its approval for the construction of PeshawarNorth Bypass in addition to two power projects.
He said that the construction of the bypass will increase traffic flow inPeshawar city.
Power projects approved by the committee include the construction of a157-MV power station in Madyan area of Swat and an 88-MV Gabral powerhousein Kalam Valley.
The chief minister said that the completion of power projects will enablethe authorities to provide electricity to industries on discounted rates.
“Discounted electric supply to industries will bring an economic revolutionin the province besides creating employment for youth,” he stated.
