LAHORE – Skipper Sarfraz announces major decision over his batting orderchange, reacts over Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad in squad.Pakistan’sskipper Sarfraz Ahmed on Friday said he would bat at number four againstSri Lanka in the three-match T20I series.
Addressing a presser, Sarfraz welcomed return to Umar Akmal and AhmedShehzad in the national team and hoped that both players would prove theirselection right.
“Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal will be given full chance to prove theirmettle. I hope that they will prove their critics wrong”, Sarfraz wasquoted as saying in the presser.To a question, Sarfraz replied that Pakistan were not taking Sri Lankaeasy. He apprised attendants that Islanders can give tough time to greenshirts.
The skipper termed toss ‘immensely important’. He further added thatLahoris will give warm reception to Sri Lankan team. “The management hastaken every step to ensure foolproof security”, added Sarfraz.
It is pertinent here to mention that Pakistan had won ODI series by 2-0.The first match of the series was washed out.
