*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan will be holding talks with US special representativeon Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad.*
*US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzadwill be arriving in Pakistan on Saturday.*
He is on a special visit to Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, Qatar and SaudiArabia between October 4 and 14. According to a statement, he will becoordinating and leading US efforts to bring the Taliban to the negotiatingtable.
He will be working in coordination with the Afghan government and otherstakeholders to reach a negotiated settlement to the conflict.
