*ISLAMABAD – The government has prepared a list of 300 persons who havetheir assets abroad, said Special Assistant to Prime Minister onAccountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar.*
Briefing the media while flanking alongside Information Minister FawadChaudhry, he said Asset Recovery Unit (ARU) had started its working, addingthat members of the Unit had also been selected.
The PM’s adviser said details of more than 10,000 properties have beenreceived which are in Dubai and England.
Shahzad Akbar said list of properties have been divided into two portions,one for Politically Exposed People and one for rest of the people. He saidofficials from National Accountability Bureau and Federal InvestigationAgency would investigate the cases.
He said a progress report of the recovery unit is being submitted inSupreme Court fortnightly.
