30 companies enter Gwadar Free Economic Zone with US 474 millions: Report

GWADAR – Chairman, Gwadar Port Authority, Dostain Khan Jamaldini has saidthat at least thirty companies in different businesses including hotel,bank, logistics and fish processing have entered the free economic zonewith direct investment of about 474 million dollars in Gwadar. He said thisin an interview with China Global Television Network today.He said Gwadar port connectivity, Gwadar port collection area andproduction area are now almost ready. He said we are receiving a ship fromChinese company COSCO weekly and with the start of industrial production inthe free zone, the frequency of the ships will increase.Dostain Jamaldini said there are many corridors, linked through the networkof Belt and Road initiative announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping, butthe most viable corridor is China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
