There was an important meeting between the leaders of the MQM and the GDA,where they discussed the reasons behind the destruction of Sindh during thePPP’s three terms. They have agreed to continue a series of meetings tocreate a joint action plan for future elections.Additionally, they reachedan agreement on bringing opposition parties together on a platform.
MQM leaders mentioned that the urban areas of Sindh have suffered due tothe PPP’s bad governance. GDA leaders emphasized the need for joint effortsin education, healthcare, and addressing public issues like electricity andgas in rural areas.
After the meeting, Mustafa Kamal stated that contacts had increased beforeforming the caretaker government. They are bringing opposition leaderstogether, as Sindh is facing deprivation, and if Sindh doesn’t progress,Pakistan won’t either. He also highlighted issues such as power, gas, lawand order, and IMF conditions affecting relief efforts. He expressed hopethat the MQM and GDA would join hands to form the next government in Sindh,offering a new hope to the people.
