Pakistani skipper Babar Azam sparks a new controversy over his shirt logo

Pakistan limited-overs captain Babar Azam played a 42-run knock from 35balls, while playing his first match for Somerset in the Vitality T20 Blaston Thursday. However, it was the 25-year-old sporting an alcohol logo onhis kit which sparked outrage on social media.

Tribute is the title and shirt sponsor in addition to being the officialbeer of Somerset.

Babar and his fellow Pakistani cricketer Azhar Ali, while representingSomerset last year, refused to don the alcohol company’s logo.

According to sources, the logo was left on his shirt by mistake. Somersetwill remove the logo before the next match, which is on Friday.
