Removal of Chairman Senate: Opposition parties take the final decision

ISLAMABAD – Over the issue of Removal of Chairman Senate, the Oppositionparties take the final decision today.

The coalesced opposition announced that it would replace the SenateChairman, Sadiq Sanjrani for which a no-confidence motion would besubmitted on July 9.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader, AkramDurrani expressed that the name of next candidate for Senate Chairman wouldbe announced on July 11; he was flanked by former premier Shaid KhaqanAbbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and other leaders fromdifferent political parties.

‘I have been elected the Convener of Rahber committee unanimously,’ Durranishared and added that a plan for rallies would be announced with jointconsultation ahead of July 10.

‘Rahber committee would meet again on July 9,’ Durrani shared.

Durrani also took aim at the government for the recent arrest of PakistanMuslim League Nawaz leader, Rana Sanaullah.

On the occasion, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi expressed that the production orderswere a legitimate right of the public representatives.

‘Black day would be observed on July 25,’ Abbasi announced.
