Islamabad Police SP Arsala Naseem who had made a salute to Maryam Nawaz when she got out of her vehicle, was sent a legal notice by PTI, said media reports.

PTI lawyer Amna Ali cautioned that if the female police officer does not ask forgiveness from the nation within 15 days then legal action would be taken.

Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan had questioned why police officials were saluting Maryam Nawaz and why was she given a protocol when she does not hold any public office.
