LAHORE – The daughter of former PM, Maryam Nawaz Sharif Tuesday once againtargeted Prime Minister Imran Khan for his “incompetence & sheerineptitude” to run the country’s affairs as her father did during his timeat the top office.
Maryam, who is emerged as the second most powerful leader of PakistanMuslim League-N after her uncle Shehbaz Sharif, was responding to a tweetby the premier, in which he appreciated the military’s unprecedentedvoluntary initiative of stringent cuts in their defence expenditures fornext fiscal year because of the country’s critical financial situation.
“This tweet is nothing but an admission of your incompetence & sheerineptitude,” the vice-president of of PML-N wrote on her Twitter handle.
“MNS [Muhammad Nawaz Sharif] as PM catered to all the needs of the ArmedForces which included salary increases etc plus purchases for new equipment& development & training which is crucial to their preparedness. This isthe difference between competence & incompetence that you personify,” thetweet added.
