Pakistan PM Imran Khan makes an offer to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani

*ISLAMABAD –Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan makes an offer to AfghanPresident Ashraf Ghani.*

*Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Sunday invited Afghanistan’s PresidentAshraf Ghani for visit in Pakistan.*

The prime minister was talking to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani who made atelephone call to him today. During the conversation, both the leadersexchanged views on matters relating to peace, security and prosperity inAfghanistan and the region.

PM Imran Khan has reiterated his vision for finding a peaceful solution inAfghanistan, fully owned and led by the Afghans themselves. He also statedthat the spirit of brotherhood defined Pakistan’s approach towardsAfghanistan.

He said the prolonged Afghan conflict has damaged Afghanistan and adverselyaffected Pakistan over the past many decades.

Earlier in month of January, Ashraf Ghani confirmed via tweet that he hadcalled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and congratulatedhim on his victory in the elections, and invited him to visit Kabul.

Ghani tweeted that both sides had also agreed to overcome the past and tolay a new foundation for a prosperous political, social and economic futureof both countries Afghanistan and Pakistan.
