ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have detained senior resistance leaders, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, in Srinagar to prevent them from addressing a press conference today.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the Indian police arrested Muhammad Yasin Malik after raiding his residence and shifted him to Kothibagh Police Station. They have also put Syed Ali Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest.
The resistance leaders were scheduled to address a press conference in Srinagar today to announce a strategy to carry forward the ongoing freedom movement in the face of stepped up Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, the Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred another Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, today during a violent cordon and search operation in Chattabal area of Srinagar. APP
