NEW DELHI – The Indian Army has deployed additional troops at the Line ofControl along Pakistan border, India today has reported. The army wants tomaintain constant pressure on the border.
The three-tier counter grid has been further strengthened with thedeployment of additional forces which have been brought into the area, thesources said.
Bolstered by the success in operations along the Line of Control in theprevious year, where more than 100 militants had been killed, the sourcesadded.
Last year, Indian Army had inducted more troops around the time of AmarnathYatra and made a significant number of additional units deployed there tostay back and carry out counter-terrorist operations.
