The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) spokesperson said Tuesday therewas no truth in the news that the general electionslink would not be held within threemonths, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Conducting elections link is theconstitutionalresponsibility link ofthe election commission for which we are always ready,” said he and addedthat the election commission had called an emergency meeting regarding thepreparations for the elections link.
“The meeting will review preparations in case of general electionslink. The election commission willfulfil its responsibility in accordance with the Constitution and the law,”he vowed.
