QUETTA: Six German tourists, who went missing in Balochistan Wednesdayevening,were recovered a few hours later, Geo News reported citing Leviesofficials.
The tourists had lost their way, officials informed media.
The tourists were first reportedmissing around6 PM on Wednesdayafter theyhad crossed Drenjan area in Balochistan’s Bolan district. They had embarkedon a journeyfrom Quetta to Islamabad in four vehicles, Levies officialssaid.
According to Interior Secretary Ghulam Ali Baloch, law enforcementauthorities (LEAs) andparamilitary personnel had launched a major searchoperation in the area in this regard.
Authorities part of the search operation comprised officers from FrontierCorps Balochistan (FC), Levies, and police, Baloch said.
