SC Justice Qazi Faiz Isa voluntarily declared his assets

Supreme Court judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa has declared his assetsvoluntarily, reported 24NewsHD channel on Sunday.

The details have been released on the Supreme Court website.

According to assets details, the earnings of Justice Qazi Faez Isa in 2020were Rs21.23 million and he paid tax amounting to Rs.2.68 million.

In 2019, he earned Rs17.14 million and paid Rs.1.79 million tax. In 2018,his earnings were Rs.15.11 million and the tax he paid was Rs2.22 million.

According to documents, Jusitce Qazi Faez Isa while serving as ChiefJustice Balochistan High Court and later as a judge in Supreme Court didnot acquire any official plot. The learned judge was offered official plotsbut he turned down such offers.

Justice Qazi Faez Isa has 800 sq feet residential plot in Karachi’s DHAPhase II which he had bought during practice as a lawyer and also completedconstruction over it during his practice as an advocate.

He further revealed in the documents that during practice as a lawyer, hehad bought a commercial plot of 200 sq feet in Karachi’s DHA Phase V. Hehas given his old house situated at Canal Road Lahore on rent.

He said he had inherited from his late father a plot adjacent toQuaid-e-Azam’s residency in Ziarat and a part of the same has been occupiedillegally by Balochistan government.

According to documents, Justice Isa has Rs41.33 million in his bankbalance. He also has Rs4.1 million bank balance in his foreign currencyaccount.

He owns a Honda Accord, a Honda Civic and a mini jeep. He also owns twoHonda Civic for which he gets 600 litre petrol. He refused to keepprohibited arms despite special permission by interior ministry.

According to Justice Isa, he is given 300 free minutes for national calls.

After retirement Justice Isa will get free 2000 electricity units. He willalso get free 25 HS and 300 litre petrol.

Justice Isa said that his wife Serena Isa was not dependent upon him andshe submits her tax returns separately in the UK and Pakistan
