Prime Minister Imran Khan says Pakistan has always stood for peace in theregion, but the onus of creating an enabling environment lies with India.
In a series of tweets on Friday, he said if India demonstrates sincerity inseeking a just solution to the Kashmir issue, in accordance with UNSCresolutions, Pakistan is ready to take two steps forward for peace.
He however makes it clear that our desire for stability and peace shouldnot be taken as a sign of weakness. He said it is because of our strengthand confidence as a nation that we are prepared to go the extra mile toensure a just peace that fulfils the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiripeople.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan stands united and resolute withthe Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle for self-determination.
