ISLAMABAD – The Chief Executive of the Afghanistan Government AbdullahAbdullah has said that one of the regional countries is seeking to turnAfghanistan into a puppet state.

Speaking to a group of reporters in Kabul on Monday, Abdullah said “Isthere a country in the region that to see its interests in persistent warin Afghanistan? Is it the international community that seeks persistentwar? Unfortunately, one of the regional countries want a puppet governmentor the country be ruled by a weak government, Khaama Press has reported.

Abdullah admitted that the government has not been able to find a solutionto the issue and the condition that exists is not acceptable to the peopleof Afghanistan.

He also added that the consensus that existed after the fall of Talibanregime does not exist anymore since the situation has changed regionallyand globally.
