WASHINGTON – U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to keep governmentpartially shut for months or years after he and Democratic leaders failedto resolve their dispute.
According to a source familiar with White House, Trump has threatened totake controversial step of declaring a national emergency and building thewall without congressional approval.
Trump is withholding his support for a bill that would fully fund thegovernment until he secures money for the wall.
