KARACHI – Pakistan Peoples Party Co chairman Asif Ali Zardari has revealedon Friday his option for the next CM Sindh after PPP wins the SindhAssembly elections in 2018.
He said that incumbent Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, willretain his office after 2018 general elections, Samaa reported.
Zardari said this while addressing his party’s large public meeting inMirpurkhas city.
The rally was organized to mark 90th birth anniversary of PPP founderZulfikar Ali Bhutto. His birthday was observed by the party across Sindhwith great zeal and enthusiasm.
Zardari, while addressing his supporters, claimed that PPP ‘is the party offarmers’ and poor masses of Sindh.
“Construction of a power house and an airport in Thar is the achievement ofPPP,” he said.
He also criticised former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saying that Sharif‘is hatching conspiracies’ and ‘striving for survival of his government’.
“You should state it clearly that you have failed. I will advise you toleave the government,” Zardari urged Sharif.
He said Murad Ali Shah will continue to serve as the next CM of Sindh.
