Gold Prices in Pakistan register significant decline

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Wednesday, reflecting a similar downward trend in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,400, bringing it down to Rs260,100.

The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a decrease, falling by Rs1,200 to settle at Rs222,994. In contrast, silver prices remained stable, with the rate per tola holding steady at Rs2,950.

On the international front, the gold price dropped by $17 per ounce, bringing it to $2,481, which includes a premium of $20. This recent decline in gold prices follows last month's record high of Rs263,700 per tola in Pakistan.
