The revelation has been made that favored constituencies in the PDM government have been allocated billions in public funds. It has been disclosed that the PDM government has allocated billions in earmarked funds for the welfare of the poor, while the federal government has distributed discretionary funds among its allies.

Private TV channel Hum News reported that in the final days of the PDM government, approval was granted for the utilization of 80 billion rupees in development funds, which Supreme Court found to be unfairly distributed, exposing the misuse of billions of rupees in development funds for sustainable development objectives.

Under the Sustainable Development Program, 45 billion rupees worth of projects have been approved for Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Narowal, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, and Sargodha. Work has commenced on these projects.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5 billion rupees worth of projects have been allocated for Bajaur, Shangla, Waziristan, and Mansehra. Sindh's funded areas include Karachi, Badin, Sanghar, Larkana, Noshahro Feroze, and Benazirabad, where 11 billion rupees worth of projects have been initiated. Balochistan's funded areas, including Khuzdar, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Chagai, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, and Quetta, have received 5 billion rupees for various schemes.

Lahore has been allocated 10 billion rupees in funds, while Rawalpindi has received 3 billion rupees. Additionally, Narowal has been granted 2 billion rupees, and Karachi has received 2 billion rupees for a scheme.

Furthermore, Chagai has received 500 million rupees, Jhal Magsi has received 350 million rupees, Mansehra has received 100 million rupees for a scheme, Sialkot has received 100 million rupees, and Larkana and Benazirabad have received 1.25 billion rupees for schemes. Badin has received 50 crore rupees for a scheme, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's funded areas, including Bajaur, Shangla, Waziristan, and Mansehra, have received 500 million rupees.

However, the regions deprived of funds from the Public Development Program include Awaran, Duki, Barkhan, Hernai, Pishin, Musa Khel, Kech, Qilaat, Chaman, Kohlu, St. Muhammad, Washuk, Noshki, and Lasbela in Balochistan.

Similarly, areas deprived of funds from the Sindh Sustainable Development Program include Umerkot, Matiari, Shikarpur, Ghotki, and Kashmore. Revelations from government documents show that at least 5,000 government development schemes were approved, but despite the release of funds, work has not been completed on seventy percent of government schemes.

Thirty percent of government schemes, despite the allocation of funds, could not progress. Fourteen districts in Balochistan, seven in KP, six in Punjab, and five in Sindh have been deprived of funds. Similarly, in KP's funded areas, including Bajaur, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Haripur, Khair, Kolai, and Orakzai, development programs have been denied.

In Punjab's funded areas, including Attock, Mianwali, Kot Addu, Layyah, Ahmedpur East, and Khushab, work could not commence on the sustainable development projects, and no funds were allocated.
