Former Australian Player Steve Smith link expressed his desire to be a part of Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he termed it ‘a good competition’.

During a Q&A session on Instagram, Steve was asked, “Any Chance To Play PSL In Future?” To which the skipper answered, “It looks like a good competition so one day hopefully I get the chance to play.”

Pakistanis and PSL fans were quick to respond after Smith’s desire.

Back in 2019, Steve Smith was picked by Multan Sultans for the 4th edition of PSL but, he couldn’t join due to his elbow injury.

Earlier, the Australian skipper landed into hot waters link after a video emerges of him scuffing Rishabh Pant’s batting guard on the pitch on day-5 of the Sydney test match.

A video that went viral on social media also raged viewers, showing Steve Smith scuffing up the Rishabh Pant’s batting guard marks on purpose during the drinks break in the first session.

Smith’s face isn’t visible in the video but fans recognized him by his jersey no. 49. Rishabh Pant, who came on strike after the break, had to mark out his guard all over again.

Even the Australian fans are slamming the national team on social media for their negative tactics against India.

On the other hand, South African cricketer Dale Steyn has sparked fury link Indian cricket lovers after he termed Pakistan Super League (PSL) and other leagues ‘More Rewarding’.

In an interview, Dale Steyn detailed why he chose to skip this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL), saying playing in other T20 leagues was “more rewarding as a player.”

He further added that “earning money’ is so much emphasized sometimes, somewhere down the line, cricket gets forgotten”.
