LAHORE: Punjab Information and Culture Minister Punjab Fayaz ul Hasan Chohan said the political isolation and ignominy for PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif were brought about by his daughter Mariyum Safdar and former minister Pervaiz Rashid.

The minister, in a statement, said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had fallen from the office due to poor advisors like Pervaiz Rashid and Mariyum Safdar. "Pervaiz Rashid is an eternal enemy of Prime Minister Imran Khan who has made his living by criticizing the premier".

He alleged that Pervaiz Rashid was a hypocrite who had harboured ill-will against the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and its chief.
Chohan said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was being criticized by his people due to peace diplomacy of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The world leaders and international media heaped praise on Prime Minister Imran Khan for his political sagacity and efforts for durable world peace, but Pervaiz Rashid had lost his senses in his enmity of the prime minister, he added.

He said the Indians were divided today and hurling abuses at Narendra Modi due to the wisdom and sagacity of Imran Khan. The Indian media had been criticizing Modi while the in-service Indian military officers were up in arms against the Indian government.

"Somebody needs to tell Pervaiz Rashid that all the same is result of PM Imran Khan's sagacious diplomacy", he said. Parvez Rashid should abandon the politics of self-interest at the critical moment and stop criticizing Prime Minister Imran Khan, he advised.

Regarding the Pak-India standoff, the minister saluted the Jawans and offices of the Pakistan armed forces. hat Modi should feel ashamed as the Indian government had returned the dead body of a Pakistani citizen while Pakistan sent the captured Indian pilot alive, he added.
Chohan advised Modi to quit politics if he had some iota of honour. It was time for Indian premier to re-start his tea stall at Gujrat Railway Station rather than misleading the Indian masses, he added.

He said the Pakistani people, political leadership and the armed forces were united under the political leadership of Imran Khan while the Indians were divided today due to the anarchist politics and warmongering of Modi.
The provincial minister said Pakistan would give a befitting reply in case of any aggression by the Indian government. "The Indian government lives in a fool's paradise if it thinks that it could defeat Pakistan through military miadventure.".

Chohan said the fable of Indian military valour was confined to the Indian films while the reality was as harsh and painful as that of Abhinandan's arrest.
