In Occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that pellet guns and other brutalities cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement.
Addressing a public gathering in Srinagar, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that Kashmir dispute is a living reality and Indian government’s attempt to define Kashmiris’ movement under the rubric of terrorism could not stop people from pursuing their demand.
Meanwhile, the forum spokesman in a statement condemned the judicial remand of Hurriyet leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, and shifting him to Mattan Kehribal Jail.
