Feasibility report is being prepared about Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project after its inclusion in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent says Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has released 45 million rupees for the purpose.
The Chief Minister also directed all the deputy commissioners in Karachi to start removing encroachments from the proposed track so that work on the project could be started.
Having over 43 kilometers length Karachi Circular Railway project will cost about two billion dollars. Over seven hundred thousand commuters could benefit from it daily.
