Lahore: Pakistani skipper Babar Azam gets a big offer from the Australian skipper who has asked Babar to play the Big Bash League.
Australia’s skipper Aaron Finch wants Pakistan skipper Babar Azam to play Big Bash League (BBL)—as he thinks Pakistan players are talented and should come to play down under in the T20 league.
In the post-match press conference on Saturday, Finch was quoted by Cricket Pakistan, “Pakistan players are very talented. I think world cricket is better when Pakistan are playing well, and world cricket is better when they have the chance to play in our domestic league”.
“I asked Babar if he can play for Melbourne Renegades, and he certainly is, and hopefully, we can sign him by tomorrow,” the Australian captain kidded.
“If Babar Azam is available to play Big Bash, any franchise would sign him,” he added.
