ISLAMABAD: The visiting Saudi delegation headed by Director General Immigration Major General Sulaiman Al Yahya reviewed the arrangements made at Islamabad Airport regarding inclusion of Pakistan into the ‘Road to Makkah’ project.
Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mushtaq Ahmed, Secretary Civil Aviation Shahrukh Nusrat, Collector Customs Seema Raza Bukhari and high ranking officer of Anti Narcotics Force briefed the delegation regarding facilities being provided to the intending pilgrims at the airport, said a press release issue here.
The Saudi delegation visited security, Immigration and Customs Counters. They also visited the dedicated area reserved for ‘Road to Makkah’ project.
The delegation expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for ‘Road to Makkah’ project adding that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would jointly serve the pilgrims.
