PPP workers in Karachi to hold Quran khawani and special meetings

 KARACHI: Political activists and workers of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will observe with due solemnity the 40th death anniversary of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on Thursday.

The PPP – Karachi office bearers on the occasion will hold Quran Khawani across the metropolis and will also have series of meetings at varied levels to pay tribute to the founder of the party.

“Basic idea is to introduce our young colleagues to the vision of our Shaheed Leader,” said Anjum Kazi a senior PPP worker.

These meetings, “He said will also be addressed by some of the founding members of the party.”

The speakers will discuss the personality traits of Z.A Bhutto, his vision for a progressive Pakistan and also his contribution in strengthening democracy in the country.
