ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that a wrongdoing officer wouldnot be transferred, but sacked.

Addressing a ceremony on the second anniversary of Citizen Portal onFriday, he said that three million people had used Citizen Portal to lodgetheir complaints.

“Through Citizen Portal, it will become easy to evaluate the performance ofdepartments and bureaucracy. It will resolve the problems of the masses.There is a dire need of local government as well,” he added.

The prime minister said that the British had meted out slave-like treatmentto locals here before the Partition. “After their departure, the rulersalso considered citizens their slaves,” he added.
