ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a written verdict ofdeclaring PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif a proclaimed offender.

According to the three-page verdict, Nawaz Sharif was repeatedly given anopportunity to appear in court, but he did not turn up despite issuance ofnotices, arrest warrants and advertisements.

The court also summoned the guarantors Raja Rab Nawaz Abbasi and SakhiMuhammad on December 9. Moreover, the court also issued a show-cause noticeto confiscate the pledged money.

The verdict says the proceeding against Nawaz Sharif under 87 RPC.
