ISLAMABAD – Government and Opposition deadlock over Chief ElectionCommissioner and Members appointment.
Matter for appointment of members of the Election Commission has beendeferred for one week.
In-camera meeting of the parliamentary committee for appointment of membersof the ECP was held in Islamabad on Wednesday with Minister for HumanRights Dr Shireen Mazari in the chair.
The committee decided to finalize the name of members and Chief ElectionCommissioner at the same time.
