KABUL – Afghanistan regional police chief has been killed by Afghan Taliban.
The district police chief of Sayad was killed in an attack by Talibanmilitants in northern Sari Pul province of Afghanistan, the local officialssaid Tuesday, TOLO News has reported.
Provincial governor’s spokesman Zabiullah Amani said the district policechief of Sayad Abdul Malik Nezami was killed in a coordinated attack byTaliban on Monday night.
Amani further added that two of the security guards of Nezami were alsokilled in the attack.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban have notcommented regrding the killing of Sayad police chief so far.
