LAHORE – Pakistan Army rescued the Sikh pilgrims who were stranded in theTLP protests, via helicopter operation.
As per the media operation, Sikh pilgrims were in Pakistan for religiousrituals, during the recent protest staged by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan(TLP) on the matter of Asia Bibi blasphemy case.
Thousands of TLP protesters brought Pakistan to a standstill during itsrecent protest, burning rickshaws, cars and lorries to protest againstthe acquittal of a Christian woman by SC who spent eight years on death rowon false charges of blasphemy.
A journalist, Farzana Shah, wrote on her Twitter handle that the Pakistanination did not forget to save the visitors even in the time of uncertaintyand insecurity.link
