KHUZDAR – Pakistani security forces killed 14 terrorists and injured morethan 20 others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Zehriarea of Khuzdar district, Balochistan, on Saturday, according to securitysources.
The operation was launched following intelligence reports about thepresence of militants linked to the Indian-sponsored terrorist network,Fitna al Hindustan, who were involved in harassing and terrorizing thelocal population.
Security officials said the militants opened fire, triggering a fierce gunbattle. In retaliation, security forces neutralized 14 terrorists anddestroyed multiple hideouts used for militant activities.
Local residents expressed relief and appreciation over the successfuloperation. Many raised slogans in support of Pakistan’s security forces forneutralizing elements that had long spread fear in the region.

“Sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remainingterrorists in the area,” a security official stated. “The forces ofPakistan are determined to wipe out Indian-sponsored terrorism from thecountry and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring theperpetrators to justice.”
