The Lahore police sought arrest of two sisters of PTI Chairman Imran Khanin connection with the violent incidents on May 9. In response, ananti-terrorism court in Lahore granted an extension of their temporarybails until October 16. The court also called for lawyers to present finalarguments in the case related to the vandalism and arson at the LahoreCorps Commander House.
During the bail proceedings, Uzma Khan, one of the accused, appealed forjustice, emphasizing their consistent attendance in court. She expressedher willingness to face imprisonment if it was deemed just. Her lawyer,Burhan Muazzam, intervened to halt her further comments, while Aleema addedthat they were solely seeking justice.
Previously, the police had sought the arrest of these three individuals,asserting their guilt as determined during the investigation.
The investigation officer stated that the joint investigation team hadidentified Asad Umar, Aleema Khan, and Uzma Khan as culpable, underscoringthe necessity of their arrest for further investigation.
