The price of gold per tola has fallen below the 200,000 rupee mark,witnessing a decrease of more than 10,000 rupees in a single day.
According to details, on Wednesday, there was a significant drop in theprice of gold in the country’s currency markets. According to mediareports, the price of gold per tola has decreased by more than 10,000rupees, going from over 200,000 rupees to less than 192,000 rupees.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen to 164,000 rupees,witnessing a decrease of 8,000 rupees. Individuals involved in the goldbusiness attribute this decline in gold prices to a noticeable decrease inthe value of the dollar. On the other hand, there is an ongoing trend of adecrease in the value of the dollar.
Today as well, the Pakistani rupee has continued to strengthen against theUS dollar in both the interbank and local open currency markets. Theexchange rate of the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee is on the rise.
In both the interbank and open markets, there has been a further decreasein the value of the US dollar. It has fallen below the 285 rupee mark,according to the interbank rate, and is now at 284 rupees and 68 paisas. Inthe open market, the value of the dollar continues to decline, with arecorded decrease of 1.50 rupees, making it 284.50 rupees.
