“Once again, there has been a significant decrease in the price of gold pertola (11.66 grams) in Pakistan. According to media reports, 24-carat goldis being sold at 17,100 rupees per gram, while 22-carat gold is being soldat 15,700 rupees per gram.
Experts suggest that there is a possibility of further reduction in theprice of gold in Pakistan. Furthermore, the Pakistani Rupee continues todepreciate against the US Dollar, and there has been a further decrease inthe value of the US Dollar in the interbank and open market, while PakistanStock Exchange has remained positive.
Following actions against hoarders, there is a continuous decrease in thevalue of the US Dollar in the country.
