In the meeting of the ISI FC Apex Committee, Army Chief General Syed AsimMunir proposed special participation, which includes incorporating thecouncil’s actions into a five-year plan.
According to reports, the Apex Committee has expressed determination tomake conditions conducive for foreign investments. In the Apex Committeemeeting, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir recommended making thecouncil’s actions part of a 5-year plan and conducted a detailed review ofthe economic situation and investment facilities.
Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the ISI FC Apex Committee hasmade a significant decision to ensure peace and improve economic conditionsin the country. The Apex Committee has emphasized that increasinginvestment from Gulf countries is essential for economic recovery andsustainable development.
Special measures will be taken to attract investors from Saudi Arabia, theUnited Arab Emirates, Qatar, and China. The meeting also delved intodetailed discussions on feasible projects in the field of informationtechnology. Matters related to the auction of additional spectrum in thetelecom sector were also assessed. Partners emphasized speeding upinvestments of 20 to 25 billion dollars in agriculture, minerals, and IT.
According to sources, a recommendation was made in the meeting toincorporate investment facilitation into the council’s actions as part of afive-year plan. The Prime Minister, in agreement with the proposal,directed the Planning Ministry to initiate work on including ISI FC actionsin the approved plan for 2024 to 2028.
