On Wednesday, Asad Umar, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)and former finance minister, expressed confidence that the PTI chief wouldbe cleared of all charges, emphasizing that his party would activelyparticipate in upcoming elections.
Responding to the homecoming of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and MaryamNawaz’s public gathering in Lahore, Asad Umar, the former federal minister,spoke to the media outside an anti-terrorism court.
He characterized the event as a modest gathering rather than a large-scalerally, stating, “It’s more accurate to call it a small gathering, not agrand ‘Jalsa’.”
