The Afghan Taliban has accused Pakistan of deciding to gain politicalbenefits by having its people killed by ISIS, according to details. TheAfghan Taliban alleged that Pakistan and ISIS made an alliance attempt, with heinous attacks carried out on various Pakistani locations on theoccasion of 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal. Instead of holding those responsible for theattacks in Pakistan accountable, Afghanistan has leveled accusationsagainst Pakistan.
The accusation was made by Afghan Taliban closely linked Twitter accountcalled “Al-Marsad,” believed to be close to the Afghan interim government. They claim that Pakistan has decided to have its people killed by ISIS forpolitical gain.
On the Afghan Taliban’s side, they claim that the Afghan interim governmenthad shared information about ISIS activities, information that had beenshared with Pakistan and Iran.
In 2021, the Afghan Taliban had released hundreds of ISIS fighters fromBagram prison, strengthening ISIS’s presence in Afghanistan once again.
Terrorism flows from Afghan provinces like Nangarhar and Kunar intoPakistan. The Pakistani army has conducted numerous operations against ISISon its soil. Now, Afghanistan needs to take action against terroristorganizations rather than making baseless accusations.
