WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump is not yet on a clear path to recoveryfrom COVID-19 and some of his vital signs over the last 24 hours were “veryconcerning”, a person familiar with his health said on Saturday.
The source’s assessment of the Republican president’s medical status cameafter a team of doctors told reporters at a press conference earlier onSaturday that he was “doing very well.”
One of those doctors said Trump had told them “‘I feel like I could walkout of here today.'”
The source, who asked not to be identified, said the next 48 hours will becritical in terms of Trump’s care.
